Allied Waste sends trucks and people to pick up your garbage and trash once a week. Have your trash sitting next to the street in front of your house by 6 a.m. on the day the trucks come down your street. The trucks will not pick up yard waste.

You may leave one large item each week along with your normal household trash. Examples include: mattresses and furniture such as bookcases, end tables and chairs but not sleeper sofas or items too large for one person to handle. If the large item is over 50 lbs. you may call Allied Waste at 479-855-4226, Ext. #1, to make arrangements for pickup.  You my may also call them if you have questions regarding what is considered a large item.  Cut and tie carpet into four-foot lengths. You may also dispose of barbeque grills excluding propane tanks.

If you miss getting your trash out on time and don’t want to wait another week for someone to pick it up, you may take your trash to the transfer station at 36 Bella Vista Way at the first stop light on the corner of U.S. 71 and Bear Hollow Road. Turn West. Take your driver’s license/POA card to prove you are a resident of the City. They are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
